WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT TO MY SESSION?
The session fee is nonrefundable, but if you have to cancel, you'll be able to apply it as a credit toward any future session. Just let me know as soon as you know you won't be able to make it!
DO I HAVE TO PAY ALL AT ONCE?
Yes, the nonrefundable session fee is due in full to book your session. Paypal Pay Later plans are available at checkout so you can set up a payment plan that works for your budget.
HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION LAST?
I recommend blocking out 1 hour total for your session. When you arrive, you'll have 5-10 minutes to get dressed and settle in. The photoshoot itself will last 30 minutes. The extra time is because traffic on the beltway is horrendous and sometimes folks show up late. Please remember that your session will be canceled if you arrive more than 10 minutes late.
WILL I GET TO CHOOSE THE PHOTOS I KEEP?
Absolutely! I do NOT choose photos for you, that's all your decision. I am of course happy to help you choose the photos that tell the story you want.
CAN I GET THE RAW, UNEDITED PHOTOS?
No ma'am! I'm an artist, and I'm sensitive about my 🤬. I don't provide unedited images because it's not representative of my work. It's like asking a painter for their initial sketches. You will get to see all of the images that I've pulled from your session to edit though. I remove anything blurry or crazy looking and make sure you see the best and most beautiful options.
WHEN WILL I GET MY FINISHED PHOTOS?
Your gallery will be ready to view 72 hours after your session. Your gallery will be live for 24 hours, but you can choose when it goes live. This will give you the time to make sure you're in the right headspace to choose your photos. Once you've chosen your favorites, I'll do final retouching and you'll be able to download them within 7 days.

After having my baby (a wildly active 1 year old Sesame Street superfan), I struggled with feeling unseen and undesirable. I felt like my new body was a burden, and I refused to take any meaningful pictures of myself for nearly a year. And I wholly regret it.
