The Itinerary

Where We’ll Be

The Location

Newport News Park | 13560 Jefferson Ave, Newport News

Parking

I recommend parking in the lot just past the Discover Center. You’ll see me in the yellow Jeep.

Backdrops

We’ll divide your session between two spots. You can choose which ones you prefer when you arrive.

What to Bring

Take these as tested and proven recommendations, not mandates. If you happen to forget something, don’t worry! And look, don’t go out spending on a bunch of new stuff. Great photos happen with less.

  • Nude/skin matching

    Strapless bra or boob tape

    Full cheek coverage panty

  • Jewelry that makes you happy

Press on nails if you don’t have time (or desire) for a full manicure

  • Nature is our backdrop, so I recommend going barefoot. Bring comfortable, slip-on shoes for walking around.

If you prefer shoes, consider flat soles like a nice boot (heels will sink into the dirt)

  • I’m pretty good in photoshoop, but I can’t erase ashy, ok? Bring your favorite lotion to make sure your skin is soft and supple for the session.

I don’t recommend body oils and butters because the oil may bleed through the fabrics.

The Wardrobe

Don’t know where to get those gorgeous, flowing dresses you saw in the photos? Don’t worry, I’ve got them for you. You’ll be able to pick one to wear the day of your session.

More Hot Tips

Bring a Friend

It helps to have some extra hype! Bring a friend that encourages you (without trying to hijack the session). Even your partner is welcome if he knows how to rain compliments on you.

Stay Hydrated

Drink up! Water, that is. Staying hydrated in the days before your session will ensure your skin is glowy and soft for the camera.

Keep the Day Open

Try not to plan anything immediately before or after your session. Nothing worse than trying to pose while doing advanced algebra in your head for commute times!

Shave Later

If you want to remove body hair, try to do it the day before your session to minimize redness and razor bumps in your photos.
